Lake Comedero Lodge, nestled between the Sierra Madre Mountains, is
located in the small village of "Vertedore", and sits near the "Presidente
Jose' Lopez Portillo Dam". The 1440 square foot lodge offers spacious
comfort and a relaxing enviroment. The great room is an open room
equipped with a grand dining area, flanked by a fully stocked bar and
games tables for your entertainment. A large TV centered on a natural
rock hearth, is surrounded by water features and tropical plants giving
this room the ambiance needed to complete it's look. To give the lodge
the authentic Spanish feel, a 720 square foot veranda, featuring three
large adobe style arches, has large Mexican leather rockers and woven
hammocks for enjoying the starry night or that first cup of coffee in
the brisk morning air.
Our guest rooms, located directly behind the lodge, are equipped with
two double beds and each have private baths with both hot and cold water
showers. The rooms are tastefully decorated and totally furnished to
give you a peaceful nights sleep and the privacy you deserve. The entire
lodge and quarters are surrounded by an eight foot fence that is set off
by a brick and iron entrance wall.
Purified water is available in each room for drinking or brushing your
teeth.
All water used in the lodge for cooking, drinking and ice is purified
water.
We are located
approximately one hour from Cosala, which is east of Highway 15, just
ninety miles north of Mazatlan. We are nestled in the heart of the
Sierra Madre Mountains and only a 1/2 mile from the lakeshore. We will
drive you to the lake to fish, but the walk makes a great morning hike.
