Boats & Guides
Our boats, at Lake Comedero Lodge, are fully equipped fishing boats
with live wells, front, and back swivel seats, and trolling motors
with deep-cycle batteries. Each boat will be stocked with nets,
scales, tape measures, a log sheet, to record the days catch, along
with beverages for the days trip. We suggest you take your camera,
to capture those memorable moments of the day. We will have
disposable cameras for sale for your convenience. Should you wish to
have mounts made, we recommend replica mounts, made by measurements
taken from the log sheets. We are a catch and release lodge,
although enough fish will be brought in for meals at the lodge.
Our guides are local fishermen and many have fished this lake since
they were old enough to paddle a boat. They know the exact layout of
the lake and the hotspots therein. Even though they are Spanish
spoken, they have learned to communicate quite well with our
American guest. Their job is to accomodate our clients with their
fishing needs and to show them three great days of fishing. Their
humorous, yet respectful, personalities are sure to make your day on
the lake comfortable, relaxing and hopefully rewarding.
YOU JUST BRING IN THE FISH
AND
LEAVE THE REST UP TO THEM!
Meals and Menus:
We at Lake Comedero Lodge, pride ourselves in preparing for you, the
most enticing meals anywhere around. Although you will be miles away
from the luxuries of the city, you will dine as if you were in the
"finest of restaurants". We will give you a variety of cuisine, both
traditional Mexican and down home American, that will surely satisfy
your taste buds. Starting with dinner on the night of your arrival
and ending with breakfast on the day of your departure, each meal at
our table will give you new meaning to the phrase "Camp Food". We
have included our daily menus, so you can see what we mean.
Upon reviewing our menus, please feel free to inform us of any foods
that are not suitable for you, due to allergies or dislike. We will
adjust your meal to suit your needs.
