Belize
is a small, extremely diverse, Central American country with
some of the world's most pristine marine habitat. Direct
flights from Houston, Dallas, Newark, Charlotte, and Miami
make air travel to Belize easy. Belize has been a leader in
environmental protection with nearly one third of the country
under National Park or some other protected status. Belize is
home to three of the four coral atolls in the Western
Hemisphere, with Turneffe being the largest and most diverse.
The atolls of Belize provide a unique and remarkably diverse
marine eco-system with an extensive coral system as a
backbone.
Turneffe
Flats is located on the Eastern (seaward) side of the Turneffe
Atoll approximately 30 miles from the mainland. The trip by
boat to Turneffe Flats takes about 90 minutes on our 48 ft.
Pro. The trip will take you through the offshore cayes, the
Barrier Reef, and through the Turneffe Islands to Turneffe
Flats.
We are
located on a beautiful private point with coconut palms and
white sand beach allowing immediate access to miles of
wadeable flats as well as the best diving and snorkeling in
Belize.
